Dec. 2018 Emotional/Mental Wellness Magazine
The holidays are supposed to be the “most wonderful time of the year”, but sometimes they seem like the most stressful time of the year. Expectations and stress seem to increase as the holidays get closer. I tend to focus on how I wish I were a better cook or had lost that weight I had planned on losing last Christmas or wish I could afford all the fun things I’d like to get my loved ones. I lose sight of what the holidays, especially Christmas, is really about for me. Join me as I try to switch my focus back to family, friends and good people, a re-commitment to service and kindness, joy and holiness, and, for me, celebrating the birth of Christ and all the ways I believe He has blessed the world. I think the articles in our Wellness Magazine this month have some good suggestions to help me, and you, change our focus and really have joy this holiday season.
